Service Description
Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a half-hour stroll, or a full hour of playtime and exercise, our expert walkers are here to help. Cost: $20 for a half-hour visit, $30 for a one-hour visit. Additional dogs are just $5 each. Note: These rates are only a starting point. We'll provide a personalized quote during your pre-service visit based on the number of pets and their care needs. At Practical Pet Services, your pet’s well-being is our top priority. Cancellation Policy
Reservations For New Clients: Schedule a pre-service visit at least 7 days before pet sitting. Existing Clients: Notify 7 days in advance if no key is on file; for key-holders, inform 24 hours before. Late bookings incur an extra fee. Reservations are first-come, first-served. Plan ahead to secure your dates. Holidays are busy; book early based on availability. Cancellations Pet/House Sitting: Cancel 24+ hours prior to avoid charges. Holidays: Non-refundable cancellations due to high demand. Early Returns No refunds for returning early. Keys Provide 2 keys during the pre-service visit for future use, kept securely. Keys remain anonymous for confidentiality. Notify of lock or alarm changes promptly. Payments Accepted: cash, checks, Zelle, Venmo. Make checks payable to Shera Ashlie. Tipping appreciated but not obligatory. Payment due at service start. Weekly payments for regular clients. Long-term services require a deposit; late payments incur a fee. Pet Sitting Visits Effort to stick to scheduled visit times; adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances. Shared visits discouraged for pet and home care consistency. Time frames: Morning 6-10:30, Mid Day 11-3:30, Evening 4-7:30, Late Night 8-11. Inclement Weather Efforts made to reach pets in severe weather; adjusted visit times due to delays. Keep driveways clear in winter. Emergency contact numbers used in emergencies. Vaccinations Dogs, cats, ferrets need current distemper and rabies vaccinations. Puppies require updated vaccinations. Veterinary Care Inform your vet about our service. Update us on pet medical changes. Notify us of sick or dying pets. Contact vet in emergencies; you're responsible for vet charges. Information Pets must have ID tags with current info. Secure collar and leash required for walks. No pets left outside between visits or overnight. Positive reinforcement only, no hitting or yelling. Let us know about your pet's training. Rates are estimates; customized quotes given at pre-service visit based on pet number and care time.
